LivingEthically.co.uk was launched by Stephen and Samantha Ellis in 2005 with the aim of promoting organic, green and ethical lifestyles, and helping to make this lifestyle choice easier.
Primarily, the site is a shopping directory listing some 1000 different UK websites, all indexed in easy to navigate categories. We only list sites that accept online orders for home delivery in the UK (with the possible exception of some of the sites within our Wholesale and Services & Utilities pages).
NB We endeavour to list only orgo-eco-ethical products/services. However, please note that when visiting some of the websites listed, you could also see other products that may not be orgo-eco-ethical. If in doubt, we always recommend that you check the ingredients and/or source of these individual products for yourself prior to ordering, and query directly with the company concerned if necessary.
We hope you find this site useful, and by using it we may in some small way help to sustain the world we live in now, and preserve it for future generations to enjoy.

Our Advertising Policy
Because we don't sell anything or charge companies for standard listings on this website, we generate income from advertising and through affiliate commissions - it is our ethical policy to make these promotional activities easily identifiable to our site users.
Our Directory Listing Policy
We choose to list organic, eco-friendly and ethical services/products because we believe their greater use is of benefit. Some retailers and companies listed in our directory will be greener than others, and some less ethical for example, while some will be neither but stock a range of organic products. We leave you the right to choose which retailer you'd like to purchase from.
Our standard listings will always be made on a purely alphabetical basis, and sites may be included on up to 3 pages totally free of charge. Companies may be included in more than 3 pages, but to help to cover the time involved we reserve the right to charge a small fee for additional pages. We also charge a small fee for companies to include their logo next to their listing.
